How does our process work?

Step 1 – Deep-Dive Onboarding

We begin with a comprehensive deep dive into your career history and professional achievements. Through both written and verbal discovery, we’ll identify the roles, results, and leadership impact that define your career to date. This process allows us to clearly shape your unique leadership story and position you effectively for your next career move.


Step 2 – Resume Development

Once we’ve clarified your leadership narrative, we move into the development of your executive resume.
Your insights and feedback are integral to this collaborative process. Together, we’ll refine each draft until your resume authentically communicates your value and is fully aligned with your goals.



Step 3 – Finalization & Delivery

After final revisions are approved, you’ll receive your completed resume in both PDF and editable Word formats. All content is 100% yours to update and use in the future.

Step 4 - Job Search Strategy Session

Once your resume is finalized (typically within 3–4 weeks, depending on onboarding timelines), we transition seamlessly into your job search strategy.

Frequently Asked Questions

1) Will your resumes work with the ATS system?

Yes. Our resumes are designed to work with the ATS (Applicant Tracking System) as well as for the recruiter and hiring manager's human eye. Having a resume that is flexible enough to do both is important.

2) Do I need more than one resume?

You don't want more than one resume. What you want is a strong foundational resume that doesn't need to be rewritten every time you submit it. Having more than one resume means you're not focused. We write you a strong foundational resume that shines the spotlight on your accomplishments, leadership style, and the solutions you bring to the table.  When you have a strong foundational resume, you shouldn't need various iterations of your resume. You may need to tweak a well-written resume here and there, but that should be the extent of editing it needs.  Additionally, it is important that every resume tweak you do is in alignment with your LinkedIn profile, which is a static document.  Multiple versions mean some won't align with your resume, and we don't want that for you.

3) Do you have a cap on the amount of revisions you do?

We edit with you until you are happy. We don't limit editing by rounds or days. The nature of custom work is that it takes what it takesso we edit with you until you're happy. Our writers are experts in their craft, and most clients typically only need 2-3 revisions before they are completely satisfied. That being said, we do not have a cap on the number of edit rounds on the information you shared during the client interview.

4) How long will it take?

The entire process from time of payment until final draft approval for most clients is 3-4 weeks. If you return the prep work and reply to edit rounds in a timely manner, this time frame can be met.  We are flexible if you need more time for your parts of the process.

5) Will you help me with ageism?

Our career documents, job landing strategies, and interview techniques will present you in a modern, relevant, timeless fashion. We avoid leading with age-related and seniority-focused information. To combat ageism, we ensure you present with relevant achievements, quantifiable outcomes, and measurable impact, as these data points are ageless.

Online Training Package Terms and Conditions

Thank you for choosing to hire Chameleon Resumes. We take your commitment to advancing your job search seriously. We are very excited to help you with the tools and processes that have helped others to generate results. To help us have a solid start, here are the terms and conditions to accept with your purchase. Our clients never have to look at these again, since we do all we can to ensure satisfaction—but our lawyers have us post this. We are excited to get started!

  • Chameleon Resumes clients have an excellent record of landing positions and advancing their careers. However, we offer no guarantees of landing a job or promotion as a result of using our services. For all services purchased, you acknowledge that this is a collaborative process between us and agree to perform suggested activities to improve your job search results. The client acknowledges and understands that, while Chameleon Resumes is very committed to your success, we cannot guarantee it—no career professional should or can.

  • Since our services are specifically designed to be flexible for clients regardless of where they are in the job search process, landing a job or starting a new business with unused services still outstanding does not qualify for a refund under our satisfaction guarantee. When this happens, we take the time to learn about your new goals, and adjust the services in a way that makes the most sense, to continue propelling you forward.

  • Refund requests for webinar training packages are to be made after job search activity instruction has been executed and writing/coaching services have been completed within 60 days of purchase, as stated in the prior bullet that your agreement to perform suggested activities is an essential part of the process for success. All refunds will be processed minus a $197 fee, to cover all client fulfillment and training material sent at onset of purchase. If you ask for a refund according to the terms and conditions, you will agree in writing that you will not use any of the resume, LinkedIn profile, and cover letter content created for you to process the refund. Unused services will be subject to price increase or changes in package composition after one year of the purchase date. Unused services are not eligible for a refund.

  • It is our policy to work with you until you are satisfied with your documents. We build our business on referrals and word-of-mouth from happy clients. We take client satisfaction very seriously. Let us know what we need to do to make you a happy with your documents to ensure we accomplish that goal.

  • As the client, you are responsible for finalizing your career documents' completeness and accuracy before submitting to job applications and emailing colleagues your documents. We are not liable for any injury or damage caused by omissions, false statements, or other inaccuracies. We work with you through the document edit phase, but it is ultimately your responsibility to review and finalize your documents.

  • All documents and coaching services are considered completed within three months of purchase date.

  • Once a job offer is accepted by you, any remaining coaching time will be applied to Onboarding or Career coaching services to support you with continued success. The client will choose which service to apply their remaining time to via a written request at that time.

  • Client agrees to be available during business hours for all calls pertaining to writing the documents and the majority of calls focused on coaching. The Chameleon Team will always do our best to be flexible, but we work mostly business hours as we feel it brings the best results for our clients and quality of life for our team.

  • Resume Edits included in the initial resume creation process will focus on information listed in prep work and outlined during informational interview only. Adding additional employment, education or achievement information to the document after first drafts have been presented is considered a Resume Update service, and can be incorporated with an additional Resume Update fee.

  • For any scheduled appointments interview calls, coaching calls or edit calls, please give 24 hours notice if you are unable to make a call or the scheduled call can count towards your allotted calls.

  • Chameleon Resumes reserves the right to cancel engagements with no refunds if it's discovered clients have misrepresented their experience and/or shared untruths.

  • Terms and Conditions are subject to change.

Once you have remitted payment, Chameleon Resumes will reach out to you within 24 hours of payment with the specific follow-up work pertaining to your purchase.
